Contraceptive usage: modern methods vs. any methods

Estimated share of women using contraceptive methods, among those aged 15–49 and married or in union. This is compared between modern methods and anymethod (modern or traditional).

Note: "Modern methods" include oral hormonal pills, the intra-uterine device (IUD), male or female condoms, injectables, the implant, female and male sterilization, vaginal barrier methods, oremergency contraception. "Traditional methods" include fertility awareness based methods, periodic abstinence, withdrawal, and other traditional methods.
